Bone biopsy devices are used to extract tissue samples from bone or vertebral bodies for diagnostic purposes. The adoption of newer technologies in the bone biopsy devices market, such as automatic biopsy drivers, is driving market growth. U.S.-based OmniBone received FDA 510(k) clearance in June 2023 for its bone biopsy kit with power driver, designed for bone biopsy using cutting or aspiration techniques. 
 
Additionally, companies like BiBBInstruments aim to offer endoscopic ultrasound-guided core needle biopsies as an alternative to fine needle aspiration and fine needle biopsy techniques.
